August 27th 2021

PRHK, the industry organisation that acts as a catalyst for change for PR and communications professionals in Hong Kong, has appointed its new board for 2021/22, representative of communications in its fullest context. Reflecting the rapidly expanding scope of modern PR practitioners, the 2021/22 PRHK board includes, for the first time, in-house and agency communicators spanning young professionals to agency heads, with experience across a breadth of sectors and specialisms including Strategy and Digital.

“The new PRHK board underpins our desire to be change agents in a dynamic communications landscape, and to support and develop the incredible talent that we have in Hong Kong from both in-house and agency backgrounds,” said Annouchka Behrmann, newly appointed Chairperson of PRHK. “As we emerge from a challenging COVID-19 environment, PRHK is well-placed to help navigate inevitable change, and to equip and inspire our members and the wider industry with the huge value of strategic communications.”

PRHK’s focus for the year ahead is to represent, champion, promote and grow the PR and communications industry to enable professionals in Hong Kong to springboard from the pandemic. The priorities for 2021/22 include talent, developing skills and knowledge, and forging new connections between communications professionals and the wider industry.
