How will news be created in 2019? How will you consume it and how will you view it?
The pace of change in Hong Kong’s saturated media landscape is accelerating driven by an increasingly digital newsroom, shifting consumption habits and how much we trust the media.
A team of researchers at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) have surveyed consumers and media leaders to explore how our legacy media and digitally-born media are adopting new technologies in the production and presentation of today’s news and consumers view it.
Raymond Li, Director, Institute for Journalism & Society, HKBU will present the results of the 2018 Hong Kong Digital Media Report, reveling news makers and change makers in 2019 and beyond.
